Tournament 2000 Bluewater Generation 2
Tournament Pleasure Boats release exciting Second Generation 2000 Bluewater design.
Tournament Pleasure Boats manufacture an award winning range of trailable sports cruisers, day cruisers and fishing boats from 16ft right through to 26ft, with the Tournament 2000 Bluewater sitting in the middle of the range as the ultimate family boat. Ideal for fishing, skiing or just cruising, this magnificent boat ticks every box when it comes to quality, versatility and performance and has just been given a major facelift with the release of the Generation 2 design.
The class leading Tournament 2000 Bluewater has benefitted from recent research and development and has been upgraded to provide more room in the cockpit and deck areas, an exciting new hardtop option and adjustments to the layout designed to give the end user a vastly improved boating experience.
The cockpit area now benefits from almost seven inches of extra room thanks to a redesign of the rear coaming that now extends internally to the floor and comes standard with a transom door, live bait tank, split rear folding lounge and access hatches for batteries and bilge. Subtle, well thought out changes to designs such as the live bait tank hinge being placed on the opposite side makes these areas more functional. The extra room created provides an excellent working space, whether venturing offshore or simply carrying all the extra gear that comes with a family day on the water, overnight trips or even tow sports.
When it comes time to anchor, the 2000 Bluewater Generation 2’s anchor well area has been reconfigured to house the latest optional drum winches. The days of having to struggle with a manual set of the anchor are long gone and the reconfiguration of this vital area now means anchoring anywhere is a breeze. Movement from the deck to the bow has been made easier with a wider walkway around the side decks and a redesigned, larger access hatch. While it’s not often you’ll need to head up front to the bow, it’s always nice to know this can be achieved with ease.
Internally, the dash has had an upgrade, making this area more functional. There is now the ability to host all the modern electronics available on the market, with room for multiple engine management gauges and chart plotter/sounder displays up to 12” in size. The new optional hardtop with glass windscreen, wide windows and plenty of rod storage up top provides excellent protection from the elements, and is superbly functional.
There have also been a number of important additions to the now extensive options list that allow you to make your Tournament 2000 Bluewater truly unique to you. As well as the hardtop option, there are new transom steps to make boarding simple and safe, options for bait boards, esky’s, seating upgrades, increased capacity fuel tanks and the list goes on.
The 2000 Bluewater Generation 2 release from Tournament Pleasure Boats has seen one of the most versatile and awarded boats on the market become one of the true greats in its class. Priced from $66,872 inc GST for a boat, motor, trailer package (excluding hard top), this new release offers exceptional value and will be sure to turn heads both on and off the water.
